  Vote 1 NDP for the Senate. Our preferences are directed to those parties and candidates with the least pro-war policies.
• Spread the word.
  Talk to your friends and relatives who live in ACT. Print off the policy for your friends
• Have your say on talkback radio and community radio shows in your region
  
• Now is not the time to be silent!
  Pick up a pen and write to your local paper Here is a sample letter: It was something to do with liberty and freedom that drove my young gay brother to leave Australia and seek refuge in New York 25 years ago. He proudly showed me the twin towers of the World Trade Centre, but also the bag ladies and the poverty on the streets. Aids took my brother and now desperados have blown up the twin towers and the people in them. We are deeply hurt, but no, George and Johnnie, we are not at war. No amount of vengeance and violence will do. To a degree, Australia shares a common cultural history - brutal occupation and migration, similar struggles for justice and civics, but I won't go to war to defend a globalised economy where the winner takes all. Let an international court decide who is guilty and the punishment. We can build strategies for peace and economies based on survival.
